Ashford Outdoor Lounge Chair

An Inviting Woven Outdoor Armchair

The Ashford Outdoor Lounge Chair brings a classic woven profile to a veranda, terrace or garden seating area. A generous back cushion, seat cushion and curved arms create a soft contrast against the surrounding weave, giving the chair a relaxed presence that works as part of a suite or on its own.

Position a pair around a small table for a place to share morning coffee, or use one chair beside a sofa to create a more open conversation setting. Its enclosing woven sides offer a substantial silhouette without needing a strong accent colour.

Choose Natural or Anthracite

Natural introduces a warm woven tone suited to timber, stone and country-inspired outdoor spaces. Anthracite gives the design a darker outline for contemporary settings. Cushion colours vary with the selected finish, as shown in the corresponding product photographs.

Metal Framing with Cushioned Comfort

A galvanised metal frame supports the synthetic rattan-look weave. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in polyester outdoor fabric. Protect cushions during prolonged wet weather and keep them dry when storing; regular gentle cleaning helps maintain both the fabric and the woven surfaces.

Check the Scale of Your Seating Area

The chair measures 84cm wide, 95cm deep and 85cm high overall. Allow space beside the arms and in front of the seat, especially when arranging several chairs around a table. Measure access routes and turning areas as well as the final position.

Build Your Ashford Outdoor Setting

Combine the Natural chair with the Ashford Outdoor 3 Seater Sofa in the same colour for a coordinated arrangement, or mix Natural and Anthracite for a deliberate contrast.

For guidance on choosing a cohesive palette, read our home styling guide and carry selected colours and textures through adjoining indoor and outdoor spaces.

Frame: Galvanised metal.

Outer weave: Synthetic rattan-look weave. This is a synthetic outdoor material with the appearance of woven rattan.

Cushions: Polyester outdoor fabric. Protect cushions from prolonged rain and store them dry when not in use; outdoor fabric does not make the cushion filling waterproof.

Colours / Finishes: Natural and Anthracite. Cushion colours vary with the selected finish.

Please note: Woven texture and colour may appear slightly different in photographs. Colours may also vary depending on your computer or device screen settings.

Overall: W84 × D95 × H85 cm

Allow room beside and in front of the chair for comfortable access. Check delivery access through doorways, stairs, lifts and turning spaces.

Woven Surfaces and Frame

Brush away loose dust and leaves with a soft brush, then wipe the synthetic weave with a lightly damp cloth. Rinse away salt deposits with fresh water when used near the coast, and allow the furniture to dry. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and pressure washers. Inspect the metal frame periodically and keep any damaged areas dry while seeking suitable repair advice.

Outdoor Cushions

Vacuum gently and blot spills promptly without rubbing. Follow the fabric care label. The supplier’s general outdoor-fabric guidance recommends cold hand washing and air drying; do not tumble dry. Avoid saturating the cushion filling, and allow cushions to dry fully before storage.

Preventative Care

Store cushions in a dry, ventilated place during prolonged rain and extended periods of non-use. A covered outdoor position helps reduce exposure to harsh weather. Use a suitable breathable furniture cover when needed, ensuring the furniture is dry before covering. Lift furniture when moving it rather than dragging it across paving or decking.

We recommend using outdoor furniture covers when not in use to maximise longevity.
