Beach House Chest of Drawers | 4 Drawers

Natural Oak and Rattan Bedroom Storage

The Beach House 4 Drawer Chest of Drawers brings the warmth of American oak and woven rattan to everyday bedroom storage. Four drawers are arranged in two pairs, creating a balanced, low-profile design with space to organise clothing, folded linen and accessories. Its natural finish and open-weave drawer fronts suit a relaxed coastal bedroom while also complementing contemporary interiors.

American Oak with a Natural-Looking Finish

Solid American oak gives the chest its distinctive grain and warm timber tones. The finely sanded surfaces are finished with Osmo Polyx Oil 3044 Raw, chosen to preserve the pale, natural appearance of the oak. Square rattan mesh inserts introduce a contrasting texture across the drawer fronts, while the raised timber base keeps the silhouette visually light.

The combination works beautifully with soft linen bedding, woven rugs and ceramic accessories. Natural differences in the timber and rattan mean each piece has its own individual appearance.

Four Drawers in a Versatile 120cm Design

At 120cm wide, 45cm deep and 70cm high, this chest of drawers provides bedroom storage with a broad surface for a table lamp, a jewellery tray or a small arrangement of decorative pieces. The two-by-two drawer layout makes it easy to separate everyday essentials without the height of a tall chest.

Place it opposite the bed or along a clear bedroom wall, allowing room for the drawers to open fully and for comfortable movement nearby. Secure the furniture with an appropriate anchor device before use and follow the Safety Warning below.

Style a Coordinated Coastal Bedroom

Pair the chest with the Beach House Bedside Table to repeat the oak tones and rattan texture around the room. For a more layered look, combine it with existing timber furniture and soft neutral textiles.

Timber and Rattan

Finish

Osmo Polyx Oil 3044 Raw enhances the timber’s grain while helping retain its natural colour and raw-looking appearance.

The supplier describes the Osmo finish as food-safe, containing no biocides or preservatives, and resistant to coffee, tea, wine, fruit juice, milk and water. Clean spills promptly and avoid leaving moisture on the surface.

Natural Variations

Natural oak and rattan vary in tone, grain, markings, weave and texture, giving each chest its own character. Your piece may therefore differ from the photographs, and colours may appear differently depending on your computer or device’s screen settings.

Solid timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Some movement or checking — small cracks that can develop as timber expands and contracts — may occur over time.

Regular Cleaning

Dust the oak surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For light marks, wipe with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Gently remove dust from the rattan mesh with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low suction. Avoid soaking the rattan or leaving water on the timber.

Protecting the Finish

Wipe spills promptly. Use coasters beneath drinks and protective pads under lamps, trays and decorative objects. Avoid placing hot items directly on the surface, and lift accessories rather than sliding them. Do not use acidic household cleaners, abrasive pads or harsh chemicals. Before applying any oil, polish or cleaning treatment, confirm its suitability for the existing Osmo finish.

Preventative Care and Placement

For indoor use only. Keep the chest away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters, air-conditioning outlets and excessive moisture. Maintain a reasonably stable indoor environment to help reduce timber movement. Empty the drawers before moving the chest and lift it with suitable assistance rather than dragging it.

Secure the furniture with an appropriate anchor device and follow the supplied installation instructions. Open only one drawer at a time, store heavier items in the lower drawers, and never allow children to climb or hang on the furniture. Never place a television on this chest. See the Safety Warning accordion.
