Benji Bedside Table | Black

A Black Teak Bedside Table with Practical Storage

The Benji Bedside Table in Black brings useful storage and a defined timber silhouette to the bedroom. At 60cm wide, it offers a generous bedside surface for a lamp, a book and everyday essentials. Two drawers keep smaller items close at hand, helping you maintain a calm sleeping space without leaving everything on display.

Solid Teak with a Satin Black Stain

Made from solid teak with a satin black stain, Benji combines the character of timber with a deeper, contemporary colour. Its simple form works well against pale walls and natural bedding, while the raised timber frame introduces an open line beneath the drawers. Paired semicircular pulls meet across the drawer fronts to create a circular detail, giving the otherwise restrained design a distinctive focal point.

Designed for Contemporary and Coastal Bedrooms

Use the black finish to add contrast beside an upholstered bed, or pair it with warm timber and woven textures for a more layered setting. In a coastal bedroom, linen bedding and soft neutral tones balance the darker cabinet. A pair can create symmetry either side of the bed, while a single table also suits a guest room with a more flexible layout.

Choose the Right Bedside Proportions

Measuring 60cm wide, 52cm deep and 61cm high, Benji is best considered alongside your mattress height and available floor space. Allow room to open the drawers and move comfortably around the bed. It arrives fully assembled and weighs approximately 22.5kg, so check delivery access before ordering.

Materials and Finish

Constructed from solid teak. Finished with a satin black stain.

Natural Timber Characteristics

Natural timber varies in grain, texture and markings, giving each piece its own character. Some timber character may remain visible through the stained finish. The appearance may differ from the photographs, and colours may appear differently depending on your computer or device’s screen settings. Timber responds to temperature and humidity; some movement or checking — small cracks that can develop as timber expands and contracts — may occur over time.

Supplied fully assembled. Allow room to open the drawers and check the table height against your mattress height.

Regular Cleaning

Dust regularly with a soft cloth. Wipe hard surfaces with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and acidic household cleaners. Do not soak the furniture or leave water standing on the surface.

Preventative Care

Wipe spills immediately. Use coasters, placemats and heat-resistant trivets beneath drinks and hot dishes. Place protective pads beneath decorative objects and lift items rather than dragging them across the surface.

Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters and air-conditioning outlets. Maintain a reasonably stable indoor environment and lift the piece when moving it rather than dragging it.
