Grange Bedhead | Solid American Oak

Solid Oak Detail for a Contemporary Bedroom

The Grange Bedhead brings the character of solid American oak and a refined architectural profile to the bedroom. Closely spaced vertical timber detailing adds texture across the panel, framed by a simple rectangular outline. Choose Natural Oak for warm timber tones or Black Oak for a deeper, more defined focal point. Both finishes work with crisp cotton, textured linen and softly layered bedding.

Two Finishes, the Same Solid American Oak

Both colours are crafted from solid American oak. Natural Oak has a natural matte clear coat that highlights the timber’s warm grain, while Black Oak combines a black stain with a matte clear coat. The repeated vertical lines create interest without upholstery or ornate decoration. Natural Oak pairs easily with pale walls and muted colours; Black Oak creates contrast against lighter bedding and complements darker furniture and metal accents.

Choose Double, Queen or King

The Double bedhead is 144cm wide, Queen is 160cm wide and King is 190cm wide. All three sizes are 120cm high and 5cm deep. Compare the full width with your bed base and mattress rather than choosing by the mattress name alone. Consider how much timber you would like visible beside the bed and above your pillows once the bedding is in place.

Balance Bedside Furniture and Lighting

Allow room beside the bed for proportionate bedside tables and easy access to drawers or doors. A timber bedside table can continue the oak palette, while a different finish introduces another layer to the setting. Choose bedside lighting at a height that works with your mattress and reading position, keeping the arrangement balanced around the bedhead.

Plan Placement and Delivery

The Grange is supplied fully assembled and this listing is for the bedhead only. Bed base, mattress and bedding are separate. Measure doorways, stairs and turning spaces before ordering, and confirm placement or fixing requirements for your intended setup with our team. The photographs show the Queen size; use the dimensions of your selected variant when planning your room.

Natural Timber Character

Natural variations in timber tone, grain and markings give each bedhead individual character. These details may differ from those shown in the photographs, and colours may appear differently depending on lighting and your computer or device screen settings.

Solid timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Some movement and checking—small cracks that develop as timber expands and contracts—may occur over time.

Regular Cleaning

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth, paying attention to the vertical detailing where dust may settle. Use a soft brush attachment gently if needed to remove dust from recessed areas. Wipe marks with a lightly damp cloth, then dry promptly.

Do not soak the timber or leave water on the surface. Avoid acidic household cleaners, harsh chemicals, solvents and abrasive pads, which can affect the finish.

Preventative Care

Keep indoors, away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters and persistent moisture. Maintain a reasonably stable indoor environment to help limit timber movement. Avoid hot, wet or abrasive objects against the timber.

Lift with suitable assistance rather than dragging when moving or repositioning the bedhead. Follow the supplied placement or installation instructions. Do not apply oils, waxes or polishes unless confirmed suitable for the existing finish.
