Grange Counter Stool | Natural

A Natural Oak Counter Stool for Everyday Gathering

The Grange Counter Stool in Natural brings the warmth of solid American oak to the kitchen island or breakfast bench. Its timber seat, gently curved backrest and slender legs create a considered silhouette, with an integrated footrest completing the design. The natural finish makes it easy to introduce timber texture alongside stone benchtops, painted cabinetry and tiled or timber floors.

Solid American Oak with a Clear-Coat Finish

Crafted from solid American oak, the Grange allows the timber’s grain and tonal variation to remain part of its appearance. The clear-coat finish complements its natural colour, while the shaped backrest gives the stool a distinctive profile from the rear as well as the front. It is an appealing choice for an island that is visible from adjoining living and dining areas.

Plan Your Seating Around the 66cm Seat Height

The seat stands 66cm from the floor; the full height, including the backrest, is 87cm. With an overall width of 40cm and depth of 45cm, the stool offers useful measurements for planning your kitchen seating. Check the underside of your bench, the usable overhang and any support rails before ordering. Allow space between stools and behind them so each person can sit down, stand up and move comfortably.

Style for Coastal and Contemporary Kitchens

Natural oak works beautifully in coastal interiors, bringing warmth to white cabinetry and soft neutral finishes. It also complements organic modern and contemporary spaces, where timber texture can balance more streamlined surfaces. Repeat an oak tone in nearby furniture, or mix materials thoughtfully for a more individual setting.

Connect Your Kitchen and Dining Spaces

Pair the stool with the Grange Natural Dining Chair to carry a similar timber character into an adjacent dining area. Each stool is sold individually and arrives fully assembled, allowing you to choose the quantity for your counter. Natural Timber Character

Natural variations in grain, tone and markings give each stool its own character. Solid timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity; some movement or fine surface cracks, known as checking, may develop over time. Position away from persistent moisture, strong heat and prolonged direct sunlight.

Colours may appear differently depending on lighting and your computer or device screen settings.

Regular Cleaning

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. When needed, wipe with a lightly dampened cloth and dry promptly. Blot spills as soon as they occur. Avoid acidic household cleaners, harsh chemicals, solvents and abrasive pads that could damage the clear-coat finish.

Preventative Care

Keep indoors, away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters and persistent dampness. Avoid leaving wet items on the timber. Fit suitable floor protectors where needed and check them regularly for wear or trapped grit. Lift rather than drag the stool when moving it.

Everyday Use

Use on a stable, level surface. Avoid rocking the stool onto two legs, and do not stand on the seat or footrest. Check that the seating position allows comfortable legroom beneath the counter.
