Grange Footstool | Natural

A Finishing Touch for Your Favourite Chair

The Grange Footstool in Natural brings together a solid oak frame and a softly padded, linen-blend top. Its open timber base and light upholstery create a refined contemporary profile that complements an armchair without adding a bulky upholstered form. Place it in a reading corner or beside your living room seating, ready to move into position when you want to rest your feet.

Solid American Oak and Linen-Blend Upholstery

The frame is crafted from solid American oak and finished with a natural clear coat that allows the timber grain to remain visible. The padded upholstered top introduces a softer texture, with a light linen colour that sits easily alongside warm neutrals and other timber finishes. Rounded edges and slender legs keep the design visually light, making both the wood and fabric part of its character.

A Compact Size for Everyday Living

Measuring 55cm wide, 43cm deep and 38cm high, the Grange offers a compact footprint for a considered seating arrangement. Compare its height with your chosen chair and check how much floor space remains when the footstool is in use. Allow room to walk around the setting and keep nearby doors and access routes clear. Its approximately 4.5kg weight is useful to consider if you plan to move it regularly.

Complete Your Grange Reading Corner

Pair it with the Grange Occasional Chair in Natural to continue the oak and upholstered palette. A reading lamp, a small side table and a textured rug can help define the corner within a larger living room. Keep surrounding finishes simple to let the frame’s natural grain and the upholstery’s texture stand out.

Simple Placement and Ongoing Care

The footstool arrives fully assembled and is designed for indoor use. Regular dusting of the frame and gentle vacuuming of the upholstery help maintain its appearance. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight and persistent dampness, and blot spills promptly. The price is for the footstool only; the coordinating chair is sold separately.

Natural Timber Character

Natural variations in timber tone, grain and markings give each footstool individual character. These details may differ from those shown in the photographs, and colours may appear differently depending on lighting and your computer or device screen settings.

Solid timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Some movement and checking—small cracks that develop as timber expands and contracts—may occur over time.

Footstool only. The chair and styling accessories shown are sold separately.

Assembly

No Assembly Required. Footstool only. Chair and styling accessories are not included.

Timber Care

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe marks from the frame with a lightly damp cloth, then dry promptly. Do not soak the timber or leave water on the surface. Avoid acidic household cleaners, harsh chemicals, solvents and abrasive pads.

Upholstery Care

Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and loose particles. Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth without rubbing or saturating the fabric. Follow the attached care label for cleaning products and methods; seek professional upholstery cleaning advice for persistent marks.

Preventative Care

Keep indoors, away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters and persistent moisture. Avoid hot, wet or abrasive objects on the timber. Do not apply oils, waxes or polishes unless confirmed suitable for the existing finish.

Lift rather than drag when moving the footstool. Fit floor protectors appropriate to your flooring and check them regularly for trapped grit. Place on a stable, level surface and do not stand on the upholstered top.
