Harbour Island Bench Seat

A Considered Addition to Your Home

The Harbour Island Bench Seat combines everyday function with a relaxed, textural presence. An upholstered seat softens the natural timber frame for flexible bedroom or living-room styling. Use it as a starting point for a coordinated room, or introduce it alongside existing pieces for a more layered setting.

Materials and Finish

The design uses american Oak frame with Zepel upholstery. The Osmo Polyx Oil 3044 Raw finish helps retain the natural appearance of the timber.

Finish: Osmo Polyx Oil 3044 Raw.

Osmo Polyx Oil 3044 Raw is formulated to preserve the timber’s natural appearance. The supplier describes the finish as food-safe, free from biocides and preservatives, and resistant to everyday spills including coffee, tea, wine, fruit juice, milk and water. Wipe spills promptly; this does not make the furniture waterproof.

Natural timber varies in tone, grain, markings and texture, so each piece will have its own character. These natural differences mean your piece may vary from the photographs. Colours can also appear differently depending on your computer or device’s screen settings. Timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity; some movement or checking — small cracks as the timber expands and contracts — may develop over time.

Regular Cleaning

Dust regularly with a soft cloth. Wipe hard surfaces with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and acidic household cleaners. Do not soak the furniture or leave water standing on the surface.

Preventative Care

Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters and air-conditioning outlets. Maintain a reasonably stable indoor environment and lift the piece when moving it rather than dragging it.

Upholstery and Cushions

Vacuum gently with an upholstery attachment and blot spills promptly without rubbing. Follow the specific fabric care label before using detergents, machine washing or bleach; do not assume all covers are washable. Allow cushions to dry completely before use or storage. Seek professional upholstery cleaning when required.
