Natural timber varies in tone, grain, markings and texture, so each piece will have its own character. These natural differences mean your piece may vary from the photographs. Colours can also appear differently depending on your computer or device’s screen settings. Timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity; some movement or checking — small cracks as the timber expands and contracts — may develop over time.

Regular Cleaning

Dust regularly with a soft cloth. Wipe hard surfaces with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and acidic household cleaners. Do not soak the furniture or leave water standing on the surface.

Preventative Care

Remove debris and moisture regularly, particularly around joints and beneath cushions. Use a breathable furniture cover when the piece is clean and fully dry, and provide shelter during extended wet weather or long periods of non-use. Rinse off salt or poolside residue with fresh water and dry the frame.

Outdoor timber will weather with exposure. Ask us about a compatible teak or timber care system if you wish to maintain its original tone, and test treatments in an inconspicuous area before application.
