Whitsunday Cane + Timber Bedhead

A Cane Bedhead with Classic Coastal Character

The Whitsunday Cane & Timber Bedhead brings traditional shaping and natural texture to the bedroom. Its curved upper profile references classic Louis XIV furniture, softened by an open rattan weave that keeps the design visually light.

Solid White Cedar and Handwoven Rattan

A solid white cedar frame surrounds the woven natural rattan insert. The weathered oak stain and matte clear coat create a warm, understated finish that complements the weave. Weathered Oak describes the finish; the frame is white cedar timber.

Choose Queen, King or Super King

This listing offers three sizes to suit your bedroom setting. Check the overall bedhead measurements against your existing bed base, mattress and wall space before selecting a size. The bedhead is supplied fully assembled; it is sold separately from a bed base and mattress.

Style Your Whitsunday Bedroom

Pair the bedhead with complementary Whitsunday furniture and practical bedside tables. Pale linen, textured cushions and simple bedside lighting work with its relaxed proportions.

Natural Timber and Rattan Variation

Natural differences in timber grain, rattan weave, tone and markings give each piece its own character. Your piece may differ slightly from the photographs, and colours may appear different depending on your computer or device screen settings.

Solid timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Some movement and checking—small cracks that can develop as timber expands and contracts—may occur over time. Keep the furniture indoors and follow the care guidance.

Regular Cleaning

• Dust the timber regularly with a soft, dry cloth and gently brush dust from the rattan weave.
• For light cleaning, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry the timber promptly. Do not soak the rattan or leave moisture on the surface.
• Clean spills as soon as they occur.

Preventative Care

• Keep indoors in a dry, well-ventilated room, away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters and air-conditioning outlets.
• Avoid acidic household cleaners, bleach, solvents and abrasive cleaning pads.
• Do not apply oils, waxes or new coatings without advice on compatibility with the existing finish.
• Protect the timber from heat, wet objects and trapped moisture.
• Lift carefully with suitable assistance rather than dragging when repositioning.
