Cable Beach Outdoor Bar Table | Solid Teak

An Outdoor Bar Table for Relaxed Entertaining

The Cable Beach Bar Table brings a warm timber surface to outdoor drinks, informal meals and relaxed conversation. Its rectangular top and tall, open frame create a casual gathering point on the patio or beside an alfresco entertaining area, with the natural teak giving the setting a softer feel than metal alone.

At 150cm wide and 61cm deep, the table offers an elongated surface for glasses, serving plates and shared snacks. Its comparatively narrow depth gives it a different footprint from a full dining table, making it useful when planning a separate drinks area within a larger outdoor space.

Solid Teak with a Slatted Top

Made from solid high-grade teak with a finely sanded natural finish, the Cable Beach is suitable for full outdoor use. The slatted tabletop and simple timber frame keep the design understated, allowing it to work with woven seating, greenery and other natural textures.

Teak will gradually change colour with exposure to sun and rain. Leave it to develop a silver-grey patina, or follow an appropriate maintenance routine if you prefer to retain a warmer timber tone.

Bar Height for Casual Seating

The 110cm table height calls for bar-height seating. Check your chosen stool’s seat height against the 102.5cm clearance beneath the table, and allow enough room for comfortable leg space and easy movement. Counter-height stools may sit too low for this table.

When comparing outdoor bar stools, also consider seat width and how the lower timber rails affect the position of each stool. Leave room to pull seats out and maintain clear walkways.

Plan a Cohesive Outdoor Setting

The natural finish works well in coastal spaces and contemporary outdoor settings. Our outdoor furniture guide offers more guidance on materials and exposure. Basic assembly is required, with White Glove Delivery available in selected areas for assistance with assembly and placement.

Solid Teak Construction

Solid high-grade teak with a natural, finely sanded finish. The rectangular tabletop has a slatted design suitable for full outdoor use.

Natural Timber Character

Each table has its own variations in tone, grain, markings and texture. The piece you receive may differ from the photographs, and colours may appear differently depending on your computer or device’s screen settings.

Teak changes with exposure and will gradually develop a silver-grey patina outdoors. Timber also responds to changes in temperature and humidity; some movement or checking — small cracks that develop as timber expands and contracts — may occur over time.

Choosing Stools and Planning Access

Check bar-stool seat height, seat width and legroom against the table height and under-table clearance. Allow for the lower timber rails, chair pull-out space and nearby walkways. Measure doorways and turning spaces along the delivery route.

Regular Cleaning

Remove dust, leaves and debris regularly with a soft cloth or soft brush. Wipe the timber with a lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Clear debris from the tabletop gaps and clean spills as soon as possible, especially oils, food and drinks.

Avoid acidic household cleaners, bleach, harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and pressure washers. Do not leave water sitting in containers or trapped beneath objects on the timber.

Protecting the Surface

Use coasters, placemats and heat-resistant trivets to protect the top from spills, hot dishes and abrasive objects. Lift serving pieces and decorative items rather than dragging them across the timber.

Outdoor Placement and Covers

Suitable for full outdoor use. Allow airflow around the table and let the timber dry after rain. We recommend using a breathable outdoor furniture cover when not in use to help maximise longevity. Cover only when the table is clean and fully dry, and avoid trapping moisture beneath a cover.

Maintaining Natural Teak

Exposure to sun and rain will gradually turn natural teak silver-grey. If you prefer to maintain its warmer colour, choose a treatment specifically suited to outdoor teak, follow the product instructions and test in a concealed area first.

For further cleaning and maintenance guidance, read our teak outdoor furniture care guide.

Assembly and Moving

Follow the supplied assembly instructions. Lift the table when moving it rather than dragging it, and check fittings periodically, tightening gently where needed. Place on a stable, level surface.
