Grange Oval Dining Table | Walnut

An Oval Dining Table with Warm Walnut Character

The Grange Oval Dining Table in Walnut pairs a white microcement top with a curved walnut veneer pedestal base. The contrast between the pale surface and deeper timber tones gives the table a distinctive presence, while its elongated oval outline softens the setting. Available in 240cm and 280cm lengths, it creates a generous centrepiece for contemporary dining rooms and open-plan living spaces.

White Microcement and Walnut Veneer

The smooth white microcement finish keeps the tabletop visually light, balancing the rich grain of the walnut veneer beneath it. The curved pedestal follows the rounded character of the top, giving the design a cohesive profile from different viewpoints. Linen upholstery and textured ceramics introduce a softer layer, while simple lighting allows the table’s contrasting finishes to stand out.

Choose the Right Size for Your Dining Room

The 240cm table measures 110cm deep, while the 280cm table offers a wider 120cm surface; both stand 76cm high. Consider the depth as well as the length when planning your room, allowing space for chairs to pull out and people to pass. The number of seats will depend on chair width, spacing and the pedestal position. For practical planning advice, explore our dining table layout guide.

Style for Contemporary and Organic Modern Interiors

Walnut brings depth to a neutral dining room and pairs naturally with warm whites, stone tones and muted greens. Choose pale upholstered chairs to emphasise the contrast, or darker seating for a more tonal arrangement. The table’s rounded ends work well with soft pendant shapes and an understated centrepiece. In an open-plan room, a generous rug can help define the dining area without interrupting its connection to the surrounding space.

Complete Your Grange Dining Setting

Pair the table with the Grange Walnut Dining Chair to carry the timber tones through your setting, or mix complementary upholstery and timber finishes for a more individual look. Check chair dimensions and arm clearance before ordering. The table arrives in two boxes and requires assembly; our team can help arrange a delivery quote and discuss White Glove assembly and placement where available.

Materials & Finish

Tabletop: White microcement finish.
Pedestal base: Oak veneer in a Walnut finish.

Microcement is a polymer-modified cement-based decorative coating that creates the tabletop’s smooth, contemporary surface. The walnut veneer base introduces natural timber grain and warmth beneath the white top.

Natural Variation

Timber veneer naturally varies in grain and tone, and the microcement finish may show subtle tonal and textural differences. Each table may have its own individual characteristics. Colours may also appear differently depending on lighting and your computer or device screen settings.

Delivery & Assembly

Supplied in two boxes. Assembly required; instructions are included. Measure the full delivery route and confirm access requirements before ordering.

Regular Cleaning

Use a soft, damp cloth and a mild, pH-balanced, non-abrasive cleaner suitable for the surface. Remove cleaner residue with a clean damp cloth and wipe dry. Avoid acidic cleaners, abrasive powders, scouring pads and harsh chemicals.

Spills & Stains

Blot spills promptly, particularly wine, coffee and oils. Clean gently with mild soap where appropriate, then wipe dry. Do not leave liquids standing on the top or veneer.

Preventative Care

Use coasters, placemats and heat-resistant trivets. Never place hot cookware directly on the surface. Lift objects rather than dragging them, and protect the top from sharp or abrasive items. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and position away from persistent dampness and heat sources.

Use indoors. Do not sit or stand on the tabletop. Move the table with suitable assistance and lift rather than drag it. Follow the supplied assembly and care instructions.

What sizes does the Grange Oval Dining Table come in?

Choose 240 × 110 × 76cm or 280 × 120 × 76cm. The larger table is both longer and wider, so check both measurements against your dining space.

What is the table made from?

The table combines a white microcement-finished top with an walnut veneer pedestal base in Walnut. Microcement is a decorative cement-based coating; the base is veneered rather than solid walnut.

How many dining chairs will fit?

Chair capacity depends on the width of your chairs, their placement around the oval top and the space available around the pedestal. Allow comfortable elbow room and space to pull chairs back. Send us your chair measurements if you would like help planning a setting.

Can I use dining chairs with arms?

Yes, provided their dimensions suit the table. Compare the chair’s arm height with the clearance beneath the tabletop, and consider the pedestal position when planning how far chairs can tuck in. Overall table height alone does not confirm arm clearance.

Does the table require assembly?

Yes. It arrives in two boxes with assembly instructions. Arrange suitable assistance for handling the components, or ask about White Glove Delivery for unpacking, assembly, placement and packaging removal where available.

Can I arrange Australia-wide delivery?

Yes. Contact us before ordering to confirm availability and obtain a personalised delivery quote. Delivery and White Glove services are additional, with service options depending on your location and access requirements.
