Noosa Snuggle Occasional Chair

An Oversized Occasional Chair for Relaxed Living

The Noosa Snuggle Occasional Chair is a generous, rounded chair designed to create a comfortable retreat within your home. Its broad seat, curved upholstered back and softly tailored skirt give it a welcoming presence, with plain and striped upholstery options that sit easily alongside timber furniture, woven textures and natural textiles.

Use it as a reading chair beside a window, a relaxed addition to a living room, or an occasional chair in a spacious bedroom. The curved form offers a softer alternative to a conventional straight-sided armchair and gives a seating arrangement a distinctive focal point.

A Deep Seat with Room to Settle In

With a seat measuring 116cm wide and 116cm deep, the Noosa provides a generous area to curl up with a book or unwind at the end of the day. The overall 135 × 135cm footprint makes it a substantial piece, so it is best considered as part of your room layout rather than treated as a small accent chair.

The 50cm seat height and 80cm overall height give you useful reference points when comparing it with nearby sofas, side tables and window furnishings.

A Choice of Upholstery and a Tailored Skirt

A reinforced pine timber frame, sinuous springs and latex webbing support high-resilience foam seating with a fibre overlay. Fibre-filled loose cushions add softness, while rubberwood legs sit beneath the tailored fabric slipcover. Choose Beige, Beach with White Piping, Navy with White Piping, Natural Stripe with White Piping or Blue Sky Stripe to complement your room. The skirted base creates a continuous upholstered outline from back to floor. Soft cushions and a rounded front enhance its relaxed appearance.

Style a Calm Reading Corner

Pair the chair with a side table and reading lamp, leaving enough room to approach the seat and move around it comfortably. Its plain and striped fabrics complement Hamptons, contemporary and coastal interiors.

Measure your intended position and check doorways, stairs, lifts and turning spaces along the delivery route before ordering. Allow additional room around the chair for access and movement.

Regular Upholstery Care

Vacuum gently using a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and loose debris. Plump and reshape cushions regularly to maintain their appearance, and rotate or reverse cushions where the design allows.

Spills & Cleaning

Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth without rubbing. Follow the sewn-in care label before applying any cleaning product, and test an approved product in an inconspicuous area first.

Avoid soaking the fabric, harsh chemicals, bleach and abrasive cleaning methods. The chair has a slipcover, but do not machine wash it unless the sewn-in care label specifically permits it. Seek advice from a professional upholstery cleaner for stains or a thorough clean.

Preventative Care

Use indoors and keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters, persistent dampness and sharp objects that may catch the fabric. Allow any cleaned area to dry fully before use.

Lift the chair with appropriate assistance when moving it rather than dragging it. Keep the skirt clear of vacuum brushes and moving furniture parts, and avoid sitting or standing on the arms or back.
