Osmo Polyx Oil 3044 Raw Finish

The oak is finished in Osmo Polyx Oil 3044 Raw to preserve its natural-looking colour. The finish contains no biocides or preservatives, is food-safe when fully cured, and resists common spills including coffee, tea, wine, fruit juice, milk and water. Wipe spills promptly; the finish does not make the timber waterproof.

Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth. When needed, wipe with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Clean spills immediately and avoid leaving moisture on the timber. Do not soak the frame.

Protecting the Finish

Avoid acidic household cleaners, bleach, abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and strong solvents. Use protective felt pads wherever accessories may touch the timber, and lift objects rather than sliding them across the surface.

If the finish needs refreshing, seek advice on a compatible Osmo maintenance product. Follow its instructions and test in a concealed area first. Avoid applying generic furniture oils or polishes without checking their suitability.

Bedroom Placement

For indoor use only. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters, fireplaces and direct air-conditioning airflow. Maintain a reasonably stable indoor environment to limit abrupt changes in timber moisture levels.

Assembly and Ongoing Checks

Assemble according to the supplied instructions, ensuring the mattress supports and fittings are correctly installed. Use two people for safe handling. Check fittings periodically and tighten gently where needed without overtightening.

When moving the bed, remove the mattress and follow the assembly instructions for any necessary disassembly. Lift rather than drag the frame, and avoid pulling it by the headboard. Keep the mattress-support area clean and follow your mattress manufacturer’s ventilation and care guidance.
