Grange Dining Armchair | Walnut with Timber Seat

Rich Walnut for a Contemporary Dining Setting

The Grange Dining Armchair in Walnut with Timber Seat brings deep timber tones and a refined open frame to the dining room. Its shaped backrest, curved arms and slender legs create an elegant outline from every angle. The timber seat continues the walnut palette through the design, giving this version a distinctive all-timber character alongside its contemporary proportions.

Solid American Black Walnut Throughout

Both the frame and seat are crafted from solid American black walnut. A natural clear coat allows the timber’s grain to remain visible, while rounded edges soften the chair’s appearance. The curved backrest and arms frame the shaped seat without enclosing it in a bulky silhouette. Pair the walnut with pale stone or microcement for contrast, or introduce warm neutrals and darker joinery for a layered, tonal interior.

Measure Your Table and Arm Clearance

The chair measures 57cm wide, 56cm deep and 80cm high, with a 45cm seat height. Its arms are 67cm high at the front. Check the clearance beneath your tabletop, including any apron or supporting rails, before expecting the arms to slide underneath. Table leg placement also affects the usable seating space, especially when an armchair is positioned at either end.

Plan a Comfortable Dining Arrangement

Allow room between chairs and behind each seat so diners can pull back and move around the table comfortably. Choose a matching set or combine armchairs at the ends with armless seating along the sides. Our dining table layout guide explains how to consider these measurements when choosing seating for your room.

Connect Your Grange Dining Pieces

Create a coordinated setting with the Grange Oval Dining Table in Walnut, whose lighter top provides contrast against the chair’s rich timber. Simple tableware, textured linens and warm lighting complement the natural grain without competing with the chair’s shape. Sold individually and delivered fully assembled, the Grange Dining Armchair is ready for placement in your indoor dining area.

Natural Timber Character

Natural variations in timber tone, grain and markings give each chair individual character. These details may differ from those shown in the photographs, and colours may appear differently depending on lighting and your computer or device screen settings.

Solid timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Some movement and checking—small cracks that develop as timber expands and contracts—may occur over time.

Assembly

No Assembly Required. Sold individually. Tables and styling accessories are not included.

Regular Cleaning

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe marks with a lightly damp cloth, then dry promptly. Do not soak the timber or leave water on the seat, arms or frame. Blot spills as soon as they occur.

Avoid acidic household cleaners, harsh chemicals, solvents and abrasive pads, which can affect the finish.

Preventative Care

Keep indoors, away from prolonged direct sunlight, heaters and persistent moisture. Avoid hot, wet or abrasive objects on the timber. Do not apply oils, waxes or polishes unless confirmed suitable for the existing finish.

Lift the chair when moving it rather than dragging it. Fit floor protectors appropriate to your flooring and check them regularly for trapped grit. Use on a stable, level surface; avoid rocking on the rear legs or standing on the seat.
